We had a wonderful weekend. The perfect balance of doing fun stuff, and hanging around the house. Zac’s cousin Luke and his wife Emily and their daughter Ruby came in for the weekend. Ruby is exactly one week older than Ben, and they get along great! They arrived super late Friday night, so we only chatted for a bit and then went to bed. Saturday morning, Zac and Luke watched the Oklahoma State football game. They were playing OU, and apperatnly this game is called “Bedlam” every year. Unfortunately OSU lost, but the boys weren’t too grumpy about it. 🙂 We had pizza for lunch and then put the kids down for naps. Emily and I went to the Waxahachie Holiday Homes Tour and got to see three different homes. It was fun! We were gone 2.5 hours! It’s neat to see inside other people’s houses and see how they decorate. 🙂 That night we had Zac’s crockpot green chile pork tacos and queso for dinner, then went to Bethlehem Revisited. It was pretty cold, and a little bitty bit sprinkling, but there was hardly anyone there, and we had a good time!

Welcome
I don’t know if I’m welcoming you to my page, or welcoming myself back to the blog world, but either way, it seemed like a fitting title for my first blog post in over two years! (Maybe 3?)
I’ve missed blogging and the creative release of writing. I’m not sure what exactly I have to say, but I do know I have a lot of thoughts. Might as well share them, right?
